Without smoothly flowing blood, your body cannot function. Problems result when there are traffic jams that obstruct the flow of blood.

Vascular surgeons are specialists that use a variety of techniques to clear or repair damaged blood vessels. In most cases, vascular conditions are highly treatable, often without surgery.

Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD)

Peripheral arterial disease in the legs or lower extremities is the narrowing or blockage of the vessels that carry blood from the heart to the legs. It is primarily caused by the buildup of fatty plaque in the arteries, which is called atherosclerosis. PAD can happen in any blood vessel, but it is more common in the legs than the arms. Approximately 8.5 million people age 40 and older in the United States have PAD.

Trivex Treatment for Varicose Veins

The innovative TRIVEX system is a minimally invasive way to completely remove varicose veins in a matter of minutes, not hours. It avoids numerous incisions while providing visualization through transillumination. In a study of 339 patients, the mean operative time for the TRIVEX procedure was 19.7 minutes.

TRIVEX SYSTEM PROVIDES HIGH PATIENT SATISFACTION

Transilluminated phlebectomy is a patented, clinically effective surgical technique for varicose vein removal. This procedure uses bright light to view veins under the skin and small incisions to remove the diseased vein with suction.

Patients experienced no recurrences at a 3 month post-operative follow-up
