"I came into Labor and Delivery to hear the news no mother ever wants to hear: my baby's heart had stopped beating. This nurse was my nurse for the entire night shift. From the moment she couldn't find my daughter's heartbeat, she checked on me every 15 minutes. She had called the doctor in and had taken the following steps to move us to the room where we would deliver our stillborn daughter. 

She was nothing short of amazing. She helped me through the entire labor process, held my hand, and helped keep me calm through the epidural process. She called my daughter by name the whole time, which just stuck with me. She brought in the sweetest outfits and crocheted pockets for my baby and was kind and supportive. I cried and cried, the whole time she rubbed my back anytime I was in pain, and she never left my side if I needed someone to be in the room. Any time I called, she was here within seconds, right before my daughter was born, and she was about to go home. I had broken into a fever of 103. She ensured the doctor was on the way and I would be okay before she thought about leaving. She brought me a nice gift bag and ensured I had a soft blanket. She also ensured she gave me a Scentsy buddy named "angel" and made matching bracelets with my daughter's name for us. That was so special to me. When she returned that night, she was so happy to meet my stillborn daughter. She talked to her and loved her. She kept telling me how beautiful she was, just like me, and was so sweet. She went above and beyond for me, my daughter, and my family. I was very sad every time she had to go home, especially this last morning. She hugged me, and we both started crying, and she said goodbye to my sweet baby. She was truly amazing, and I will never forget her and the impact she had on my life, even during the absolute worst days of my life. I will always miss her and never forget how she treated my baby girl and me with the most love and support. She is one of a kind and deserves to be celebrated for her kind heart and soul. She made the hardest weekend of my life somehow less hard, and I absolutely loved her."
