We can now offer less invasive surgical treatment options for anti-reflux, hiatal hernia, inguinal and complex ventral hernias, gallbladder, spleen, colon resections, and adrenal procedures through robotic procedures with the help of our newest surgeon, Dr. Steven Reitz, who has over a decade of robotic surgery experience.

KCH has offered robotic surgery for a couple of years. With Dr. Reitz (general surgeon) joining the team, we can perform more complex robotic surgeries at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Dr. Reitz is passionate about robotics and has been practicing and perfecting this minimally advanced surgical technique for over a decade.
