Helping Patients on Their Cancer Care Journeys 
The Center for Cancer Care at Knox Community Hospital offers knowledgeable assistance to patients through a Patient Nurse Navigator.

Bobbi Mickley, RN, helps each patient and their family understand how to deal with a cancer diagnosis. The Nurse Navigator can also assist with transportation issues, with assessing the financial cost of treatments, and with the emotional ups and downs that occur before, during, and after treatment is completed.  Navigators are also aware of the resources available to patients and can provide important information about Cancer Care processes and procedures.  And finally, Navigators are there to help patients “navigate” any and all complexities inherent in contemporary healthcare.  They are always ready and willing to help patients on their Cancer Care journey to recovery.
