David McSweeny, Urgent Care

David has worked as a Physician Assistant in an Emergency Department for the last 20 years. He looks forward to transitioning from the Emergency Department environment to working in the KCH Urgent Care Center, where he will continue treating various conditions and patients daily.

David got his undergrad in Microbiology at Miami University. Then, he went to Kettering College of Medical Arts, now known as Kettering Health Care College, to get his certificate in Physician Assistant Studies.

He later earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska.

David is from Granville, enjoys spending time with family, playing soccer and trail running, and is a big Buffalo Bills Fan!

About Urgent Care at KCH

The KCH Urgent Care is open 7 Days a week and treats many conditions, including sinus infections, broken bones, cuts that need stitches, and allergic reactions.

When should you go to Urgent Care?

A good rule of thumb is that if your primary care doctor could treat the illness or condition, but it is the weekend, or they do not have any appointments available for a while, head to Urgent Care.
