When I woke up in recovery, I was met by the sweetest, nicest nurse. She helped me get ready to leave. She was so compassionate and caring after my release. I had left my paperwork in the room, so she returned to the room for my papers and called my driver. She met me at the front to give me my documents before we left the drive. Fast thinking and impressive. While caring for me in recovery, I thought she looked familiar. After I left, I realized she was my nurse in the ER after I was involved in a serious car accident. She was equally as great at taking care of me then. I wanted to thank her in so many ways. I was impressed with her in so many ways. A friend told me about the Daisy Award and that this spectacular nurse deserves it. She has been an angel of mercy to me twice, and I can’t praise her care, knowledge, compassion, and sense of humor enough."
