The Emergency Room (ER)
Our ER is appropriate for situations where every second counts for survival. Knox Community Hospital also offers trauma care for individuals with severe injuries, like a gunshot wound, a chainsaw accident, or in a car accident.

The Walk-In Clinic and the Urgent Care Center are open to visitors without making an appointment. Both options are more economical than an emergency room visit and may have a shorter wait time.

Breaking out our service capacity for each location helps us serve our patients more efficiently by directing them to the service area that specifically meets their needs. The Walk-In Clinic does not manage pain, refill medication, manage chronic care conditions, or provide medication prescriptions provided by a current primary care provider.

Below are common conditions treatable at the Wright Family Medical Pavilion Walk-In Clinic: Our Urgent Care treats your non-emergency healthcare needs, such as cuts and minor burns, upper respiratory illnesses, sore throats, sprains, sports injuries, minor accidents, and other conditions requiring prompt attention (within 24 hours).
