Som A. Bailey, DO is a fellowship-trained interventional and structural cardiologist with expertise in advanced catheter-based coronary and valvular heart disease therapies. He specializes in complex coronary interventions, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), mitral valve therapies, valve-in-valve procedures, and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) for stroke prevention in atrial fibrillation.
Dr. Bailey earned his medical degree from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and General Cardiology fellowship at Medical City Fort Worth, followed by dedicated subspecialty training in Interventional Cardiology and Structural Heart Disease at the University of Miami.
