Frederick Carroll, MD, joined the Department of Primary Care – Internal Medicine team at Knox Community Hospital in 2014. He received his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio, and then completed his residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Dr. Carroll earned his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, graduating Summa Cum Laude from The Ohio State University. His professional certifications include Board Certification in Internal Medicine and a Diplomate from the American Board of Internal Medicine. As part of the team at The Center for Wound Healing at Knox Community Hospital, Dr. Carroll specializes in hyperbaric oxygen chamber therapy, which treats hard-to-heal wounds. As the youngest of nine children, Dr. Carroll has a large extended family in Ohio. Outside of work, he enjoys performing arts, biblical archaeology, working out, swimming, camping, and gardening.
