Erika Basil, DO

Erika L. Basil D.O., joined the team in the Department of Primary Care-Pediatrics at Knox Community Hospital in December 2021.  She completed her residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, after earning her doctorate at Ohio University’s Heritage College of Medicine. During undergraduate studies at the University of Dayton where she also obtained her MS in Biology, she was a research assistant and was involved in the Rural and Urban Scholars Program. Dr. Basil is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Central Ohio Pediatrics Society.  Committed to comprehensive patient care, Dr. Basil enjoys treating children of all ages, including adolescents and teens, and has a strong interest in mental and behavioral health care.
