The Pediatric Therapy Center at Knox Community Hospital provides personalized pediatric rehabilitation in an outpatient setting.

Services offered:

  • Pediatric Physical Therapy
    • Physical therapists can aid infants with development of gross motor skills such as rolling over, sitting up, crawling, standing and walking.
    • For little ones who are past the infant stage our physical therapists can work to increase mobility, coordination and balance deficits.
    • Post injury and surgery treatment is also available.
  • Occupational Therapy
    • Pediatric occupational therapy can help your child gain independence, strengthen and development of fine motor skills, sensory motor skills, and visual motor skills vital for communication and socialization.
  • Speech Therapy
    • Pediatric speech therapy can improve expressive and receptive communication challenges for improved verbal communication.
    • Treatment options also include:
      • oral motor skills (chewing and swallowing)
      • articulation (auditory processing and social skills)
