Come In For an Appointment

To Make An Appointment, Please Call 740.397.2425.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

The eye is a complex part of the human body. Diagnosis and treatment of eye disease requires a thorough examination. Expect to spend up to two hours for your first visit. Your pupils will most likely be dilated as part of your exam, so we recommend bringing a pair of sunglasses.

We will do our best to make your visit as smooth as possible. Please bring the names of each of your healthcare providers and a list of your current medications. Your current insurance information should also be brought to each appointment.

An ophthalmic assistant will begin your exam by collecting pertinent information and reviewing your history. They will also perform some of the preliminary examination including checking the eye pressure and performing a refraction (determining need for corrective lenses).

Fees, Payments, and Insurance

We make every effort to keep down the cost of your eye care. You can help us by paying at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, and/or Visa/Mastercard.

Most insurance plans are accepted in our offices. While you are responsible to cover the deductible amount, co-insurance, and any balance not covered by insurance, we will complete your insurance forms and submit them to your insurance carrier. Your responsibility is to bring us current insurance card/s and other insurance information needed to file the claim.
