Conor Cunneen – IrishmanSpeaks

Conor Cunneen is an Irishman happily exiled in the United States who has been working on his Chicago accent for 20 years (with very little success)

Conor is a two-time cancer survivor (thyroid and prostate) who has survivors and caregivers laughing and learning from Denver to Dublin (Ohio and Ireland!) He says “Having had a thyroidectomy and a prostatectomy, I now have an Irish condition known as ‘there is not much left-o-me!”

Conor combines experiences from Europe and USA with an Irish wit and humor that that will have you leaving with a smile on the face, a spring in the step AND memorable, actionable ideas to make this world just a little better place.

Conor is:

  • A Former VP of Marketing with multinational giant Unilever
  • A Chicago Humorous Speaker of the Year
  • A multiple author including two books on Mark Twain
  • As an Irishman—he is particularly proud to be a recipient of the President's Gold Medal for Volunteer Service for the passionate work he does for job seekers and unemployed.
  • He is also a Metallica fan! And a history buff – Did you know the soldier on top of Mount Vernon Civil War monument is from a cast designed by Irish sculptor Martin Millmore??? The things you learn from a two-time, Irish cancer survivor.
