Registrar Float - Patient Access, PRN/PT

Provides coverage in all areas of the department as needed.  Maintains effective communication with all internal and external customers providing outstanding quality of service.  Adheres to organizational policies and procedures; regulatory/accrediting body requirements and professional practice standards.

Requirements Include: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Knowledge of the rules and regulations of Medicare and third party payers.

  • Medical Terminology and basic ICD10 and CPT coding skills.

  • Knowledge of third party payer processes and compliance regulations processes.

  • Previous registration and/or healthcare scheduling experience.

  • Must be trained to work independently as:

    • Registrar, Emergency Services

    • Registrar, Outpatient Services

    • Registrar, Scheduling

    • Registrar, Insurance Review
