Occupational Therapist – Home Health, FT

The Occupational Therapist contracted or employed through the Hospital is responsible for providing occupational therapy services to home health patients.  Responsible for being knowledgeable of standard of practice of Occupational Therapy in an home health setting. 



  • Demonstration of general knowledge of the principles and practices of appropriate customer service in a healthcare setting.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all customers.
  • Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
  • Knowledgeable of the roles and scope of practice and standard of care for Occupational
  • Therapy services.  
  • Demonstrates effective problem solving, decision making, interpersonal, and team work skills.
  • Demonstration of time management and organizational skills
  • Successful completion of mandatory requirements including unit proficiencies/competencies
Requirements Include: 
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Science in Allied Health Professions in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program required
  • Current license for Occupational Therapist in the State of Ohio required
  • Preferred two years of community/home health experience as a occupational therapist
  • Current CPR (AHA BLS)certificate required
  • Valid Ohio’s driver license and maintain motor vehicle insurance
