Medical Assistant - Dept. of Primary Care, FT

This position is responsible for the clerical support of the occupational health department.  This includes, but is not limited to, faxing, copying, and mailing records, completion of forms, scheduling of tests for patients; and hair, urine, drug and breath alcohol screenings.  Clinical support is optional; depending upon qualifications; for phlebotomy, vital signs, vision and hearing.  Responsible for reception of patients, registration, charging and initiation of new records; and maintenance of current records.

Requirements Include: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent.  
  • Minimum of two years clerical experience required.
  • Blood Drawing experince required
  • Previous experience with registration, medical records and worker's compensation preferred. 
  • Registered Medical Assistant Required
