Bruce D. White, President and CEO
Bruce D. White was named Chief Executive Officer of Knox Community Hospital (KCH), Mount Vernon, Ohio, in September 2006.
Bruce joined the KCH team in July of 1996 and, in addition to his current role as CEO, has served as Assistant Administrator, Vice-President of Support and Ancillary Services, and Director of Information Services.

Bruce holds a Master's degree in Business Administration with certification in Healthcare Management from The University of Dallas. Bruce also holds a second Master's Degree in Business Operational Excellence in Healthcare from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business. Bruce was certified by The Fisher College of Business as a Six Sigma Lean Green Belt. With a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science and mathematics, Bruce experienced a combined 15 years in the energy and manufacturing industries, working in multiple locations for the Marathon Oil Company and Cooper Industries. He also taught part-time for seven years as an information technology instructor for Central Ohio Technical College.

In addition to currently serving in governance roles for The Ohio Hospital Association, Mental Health, and Recovery Board for Licking and Knox Counties, Community Health Center of Knox County, and Knox County Chamber of Commerce, Bruce has served on the boards of Kenyon College, Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon, United Way of Knox County, Salvation Army, YMCA, and the Advisory Council for the Mount Vernon Developmental Center. In 2015, he was selected by Quorum Health Resources as CEO of the Year. Bruce's focus, both in his current position with Knox Community Hospital and in his volunteer involvement in community organizations, is on developing an organizational culture to promote excellence in achieving and maintaining the highest performance and service levels.
