Prevention and early detection are the keys to optimizing breast health. The CDC recommends that women begin having yearly mammograms at age 40, earlier if they are at high risk. Mammograms are simple procedures that allow a Radiologist to look for certain indicators of disease or masses in the breast. Early detection is your best defense!
Please note: diagnostic mammograms do not qualify.
Patients who have experienced a lump, pain, or discharge or need a diagnosis should contact their primary care provider.
