Cancer Awareness Event
According to the American Cancer Society, a cancer survivor is “anyone who has ever been diagnosed with cancer no matter where they are in the course of their disease."

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Cancer Survivor Event on Wednesday, June 19. This free event will be held at the Glenn A. Gallagher Centre community room; doors open for registration at 5:30 pm, with the program and speakers beginning at 6 pm. THIS EVENT IS NOW FULL.

This year’s event theme is “Hope Grows Here”. Guest speakers will share their cancer experiences/insights, and Mount Vernon Mayor Matt Starr's proclamation and KCH leadership will kick off the event.

There will be valet parking for cancer survivors and heavy appetizers to enjoy. Join us for this special evening to celebrate cancer awareness, prevention, and survivorship!
