Dr. Barry George, MD, will give us a Doc Talk on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 5 p.m. in the ERC (Education Resource Center—Knox Medical Pavilion, across from the main building).

Barry George, MD, will discuss the amazing progress of cardiovascular medicine over the last 40 years, from “Go home and have a heart attack” to “Stop the heart attack dead in its tracks!”

This event is open to the community. It will be held in the Knox Medical Center Education Resource Room, the one-story building on the left if you enter the KCH main campus, across from the main hospital building. 

Barry George, MD - KCH CardiologistDr. George joined the Department of Specialty Care – Cardiovascular Services at Knox Community Hospital in November 2016. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH, after obtaining his doctorate at The Ohio State University. After completing his residency, Dr. George completed three fellowships specializing in cardiology, two in Columbus and one in Dally City, CA. Dr. George has authored 103 publications, the majority relating to cardiovascular health and research. He is an asset to the community; with his extensive research and knowledge, he provides patients with the quality care they need.
